A lot of hard work went into making this website, but I think it gives a great description of all we have learned over the course of the semester. Not only did we learn how to make a website, but we learned a lot of new techniques to create different projects. All of these projects are featured on my website. You'll also find information about me, my educational philosophy, and links to some cool resources.
I'd love to know what everyone thinks about how my website turned out, so take a look and leave me some comments!
I love the color scheme on your site - and the photo on the homepage - it is whimsical and inviting for any prospective employer! The hyperlinks you’ve added on each page make each page more educational and leaves the user to want to read more about what you are referring to! I love the screen shots throughout your site, they add a nice visual touch to all of the information you talk about in the site and are refreshing to be able to directly connect the text you wrote to a picture of what the site or reference looks like! Great site!
ReplyDeleteI really liked your website, the design was nice and simple it looked professional. All the components of the class projects were there and I thought you did a good job explaining them. I especially enjoyed your wiki page and thought wordstash looked like a great web 2.0 tool that I look forward to checking out. I thought the content of your site was good, but before you show it to any potential employers a quick edit is needed. Lastly, I liked your non-linear powerpoint because it was not only a quiz, it also had the information on the topic!!! Great job.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the website and particularly the digital story. Your design is easy to use and you include a lot of interesting links. Ease of use is important to someone like me who believes computers are a fad. Can’t think of anything I think you should have done differently.
ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie! I really enjoyed having class with you this semester! It was great looking at your website and seeing what you have created over the semester. When I looked at our Wiki Web 2.0 site, I had time to look at your Web 2.0 example., Wordstash. It is so cook how it allows students to create and save their own flashcards based on their school work. I really liked the overall theme of your work, and how you incorporated your dog. Something that it reminded me of is how I want to get a dog and train it to be a therapy dog to help special needs students. I thought about how happy your dog makes you and what your dog went through (from your digital story) and how it can really change people's lives. Anyways, I really enjoyed your website and looking through your resources. Good luck to you!
ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie,
ReplyDelete~~I liked the picture on your homepage. I think it would really stand out though if you added animation to it. May be make the kids move a bit or the teacher? You had good wording in the info sections of your pages, but I’d condense it. Add in a pic or two perhaps. Lastly, your copyright page was very good! The YouTube video was fun and gave me a sense of what copyright law means in technology. Good job!

Stephanie: I really enjoyed looking at your website! I think your educational philosophy reflects your passion for Special Education and providing these students with the best educative experience. Your podcast was really interesting and informative on the LRE and helped to clarify an important aspect of Special Education. I checked out the wordstash resource you posted and I thought it was a really great study site for students to use. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHey Stephanie! What I really enjoyed about your blog was how you were able to find a way to integrate the programs we used into a special ed class. Your idea for using picnik to refine motor skills is really great! I also love the picture on your home page - it's adorable.
